Contra Dance Clemmons – Down The Hall and Caller George Segebade

Down The HallBob Kogut on fiddle,  Christa Krüger on bass, Suzanne Williams on flute and Denise Baxter-Yoder on Keyboard.

Down The Hall is a band from Lenoir and Hickory, NC, playing fun, energetic dance music on flute, fiddle and keyboard. Their specialty is music for Contra Dance. They also play Celtic, Western Swing, Bluegrass and Old Time music.

Our caller will be no other than George Segebade who always has lots of fun dances for us.
We are starting this dance a little earlier!! Lesson now at 7pm. Dance starts at 7:30!!
 
General Info:
 
No partner necessary! No experience necessary!
 
– If you can walk, you can contra dance
– If new, join in the fun lesson at 7:00pm
– Bring clean, soft soled shoes with you to change into to protect floors
– Bring friends for more fun!
– Community dancing for all ages
– High energy, live music
– Everyone makes mistakes, but nobody cares
– The more you do it, the easier and more fun it becomes
– Treat one another with care and respect, smile and have a good time
 
Dance 7:30-10:00pm with short break in middle
Free Lesson 7-7:30pmpm
 
General admission $9 (Members $8)
Full time students 23 and under $6 (Members $5)
