Special FREE bonus feature – English Country Dancing!
Saturday, June 17 at the Guildford Grange at Greensboro beginning at 6:30 at no extra charge, caller David Glick will hold an English country dance workshop before the contra dance! Discover the 17th and 18th century roots of contra dance as you participate in some elegant and fun dances that were all the rage at English and French ballrooms during those periods. You’ll find that some of the moves are familiar as you dance to authentic period music by the extraordinary musicians, Pete Campbell and David DiGiuseppe.

At 7:30 if you are new or fairly new to contra you are invited to attend the free newcomer’s lesson. You will feel more confident going into the dance and it is fun!

The contra dancing begins at 8:00 with David Glick calling some of his favorite dances to the tunes of Pete Campbell and David DiGiuseppe. They bring a great variety of genres and styles into the dance hall that will thrill you as you enjoy dancing with the room full of friendly people.
